Galil Motion Control, Rocklin, CA, offers the DMC-21x3 Ethernet
motion controller that incorporates a 96-pin DIN connector, eliminating
the need for cable between the controller and interconnect board.
The controller is available in one- through eight-axis formats
and features a 32-bit microcomputer.
Other features
include programmable I/O, 10Base-T Ethernet port, an RS-232 port,
and card-level or DIN-rail mounting. New two-axis
(AMP-20520) and four-axis (AMP-20540) amplifier boards for driving
stepper motors, brush-type servos, and brushless servos up to 500W
mount directly to the controller’s DIN connector, forming
a controller and drive “sandwich” that eliminates wiring.
Users can mix and match drives for different motor types on the
DMC-21x3 controller. Communication drivers are available for DOS,
Linux, and all current versions of Windows.
