Level Switch
The Model 1100 in-line flow level switch from Thomas Products, Southington, CT, monitors insufficient or excessive liquid flow rates. It is factory preset for flow rates of 0.4 to 100 gpm.
Other models are available with a vane to adjust the set point in the field. Standard process connections range from ¾ to 3in. NPT. Standard materials include brass, bronze, type 316 stainless steel, and Monel. The switch withstands pressures of up to 1,200 psi at 100°F and is qualified to MIL-S-16032.

Push/Pull Switches
The PP1 and PP2 series push-pull switches from Lamb Industries, Inc. (Portland, OR) have push-and-pull capable actuators and can be specified for the unique ON2-ON1-(ON2) function. This function is a standard crossover function with an option of either a momentary action when the actuator is pushed or a maintained action when the actuator is pulled.
The switches are UL approved for 16 A at 125 VAC, 12 A at 250 VAC, and 1 hp at 125/250VAC. The PP1 is designed to snap into a panel with a 13.2 × 28-mm mounting hole, while the PP2 snaps into a 13.5 × 36-mm mounting hole. Both versions have several different standard terminal sizes and actuator shapes.

Three-Way Air Switches
Designed
for use in place of electrical limit switches, Mead
Fluid Dynamics’ (Chicago, IL) MV Series three-way
air switches simplify control circuitry by eliminating
the need for wire shielding, transformers , and solenoids
. These 1/8" ported air pilot valves are identical
to most industrial electrical limit switches in size,
actuating style, and mounting characteristics. With
simple piping variations, they can be installed as normally
open, normally closed, or as diverters.
